Manabu Inada, also known as Gaku, was a founding member of MTV's inaugural interactive division. He later became Executive Producer and Creative Director for MTVJAPAN.COM. His design work and short films have been exhibited at prestigious venues like the Art Directors Club in New York and MoMA PS1.
In 2001, he founded INADA STUDIO in New York City. Now based in Brooklyn, Gaku is an artist, creative director, and filmmaker who captures the vibrancy of urban life through various media. His unique style merges surreal elements with reality, often altering perspectives to reveal alternative views. Influenced by late 1980s surf and skate culture, Bauhaus, Russian Constructivism, and significant films like "Taxi Driver" and "Blade Runner," Inada’s work continues to be showcased at notable exhibitions.
