Concept Film: The World of "Woods and Shore"
Following the completion of the FW23 textile artworks in October 2022, Manabu Gaku Inada shifted focus to directing the collection's brand film. Centered on the "Heavy Duty Ivy" theme, the film reflects Daiki Suzuki’s return to his quintessential American outdoor roots.
Gaku conceived a cinematic "endless loop" designed to fully immerse the viewer in the brand’s atmosphere. By animating portrait-style motifs inspired by 1950s and 60s outdoor magazine covers, the film functions as a living archive, allowing the audience to linger within the curated world of Engineered Garments.
