Flux was a part of MTV's digital media brand in Japan. The core brand visual concept was Digital Snack, One bite (Byte) digital snack, Key visual styles to be influenced by colorful American snack packaging design. These visuals indicate the metaphor of casually buying short format digital content like buying a snack on vending machines.
The futuristic look mobile phone (The year 2006, There's no smartphone yet) appears from the snack package. Art Direction, Illustration by Manabu Inada. FYI: The first iPhone appeared on June 29, 2007.
