Flux was an integral component of MTV's digital media brand in Japan. The primary visual concept of the brand was termed "Digital Snack," which creatively alludes to the notion of a "byte" as a digital snack. The vibrant designs characteristic of American snack packaging served as significant inspiration for the brand's visual styles. These visuals effectively establish a metaphor for the casual acquisition of short-format digital content, akin to purchasing a snack from a vending machine.
