ROSTARR: ME, DOG and STROKES

A short film about artist Romon Kimin Yang.

I visited my old friend Romon’s Atelier in Brooklyn in the summer of 2019.

We attend art school together in NYC back in the early ’90s. The film is a rare sight in the daily life of the artist and his raw inspiration for the art. The story is a view through the eye of director Manabu Gaku Inada, and the scenes go back and forth between reality and the imagined landscape.
