In the summer of 2019, I had the pleasure of visiting my old friend Romon's Atelier in Brooklyn. We both attended art school together in NYC in the early '90s. During my visit, I had the chance to witness a rare sight - the artist's raw inspiration for his work. This was showcased in a film directed by Manabu Gaku Inada, which portrayed a view through the director's eye. The scenes in the film alternated between reality and the imagined landscape, creating a unique viewing experience.
