The Ravenswood Mascot: Poseidon Meets the Streets.
For the Spring/Summer 2024 Ivy-themed collection, Gaku developed a signature graffiti T-shirt featuring the mascot for the fictional "Ravenswood" school.

Drawing from his roots in Astoria—Queens’ historic Greek enclave—Gaku reimagined Poseidon, the temperamental god of the sea, as a reflection of the gritty New Yorker attitude.

Inspired by the 1981 cult classic Clash of the Titans, Gaku fused Poseidon with the Kraken to create an "offbeat surf monster." The character bears the number 64, a visual nod to the trident's shape and a tribute to the decade of birth shared by both Daiki and Gaku.

Satire & Subversion: The Graphic Identity.
Gaku explores the intersection of intellectual humor and street rebellion. By sampling the legacy of mid-century collegiate magazines (The Harvard Lampoon, The Yale Record) and merging it with the raw energy of 80s Thrasher, he creates a visual language of "Absurdist Satire." It is a tribute to Ivy League wit, reimagined through the gritty, avant-garde lens of the New York skate scene.
