I filmed the skateboard scene on the day after the lookbook shooting. The day before the shooting, I created a basic storyboard for the scene, but one of the challenges was that the model/skater was wearing sample garments that were supposed to be shipped to Japan the following day for a trade show. As a result, the clothing couldn't be damaged or made dirty. Although the skaters and I wanted to do more aggressive tricks, we decided to opt for a more casual cruising style that would match the film's overall tone.
