RECOLLECTIONS OF LIGHT REMAIN:
Behind the Scenes of FW24

The Engineered Garments Fall/Winter 2024 collection serves as the final chapter in a seasonal trilogy by designer Daiki Suzuki. This collection explores his formative encounters with fashion in the 1980s and how those perceptions have shifted over time.
To accompany this release, New York-based director Manabu “Gaku” Inada presents a short film that bridges the ephemeral with the physical. The film documents Daiki’s metamorphosis of memory into tangible design, illuminating the technical precision and the reflective philosophy behind Recollections of Light Remain. By capturing the interplay between past inspiration and present execution, Inada’s direction mirrors the collection’s soul: an enduring light that remains long after the moment has passed.
