Surging without having endless traffic, people, and everyday events,
In the flow of the city, it pushes and pulls like a swell.
Bustle and Silence, Destruction and Rebirth, Time and Space, Tension and Relief.
Some are swept away, some struggle and head towards the waves.
Still, this big swell never stops.

"City No End."
City No End is an ongoing series created by Brooklyn-based artist Gaku. Gaku’s works are imbued with a subtle sense of the imaginary as he seamlessly integrates surreal aspects into depictions of our reality, creating a juxtaposition that has, over time, become his characteristic style. This exhibition showcases the artist’s first large-scale assemblage and collage works from this series.

The theme of Gaku's works is closely tied to daily life, aiming to capture the rhythms, bustle, and beauty of city living.

With assistance from a Brooklyn silkscreen specialist, the large-format multiplex printing was completed.

The printing was done using a fabric known as ripstop.

The print was meticulously produced based on a digital mockup that included detailed instructions from Gaku.

The exhibition was held at NEPENTHES NEW YORK, a store and gallery located in the Garment District of NYC.

Gaku is making final adjustments in the basement of the gallery.
